About Us

Dr. Paige Krabill, a licensed school psychologist and AMI-trained Montessori educator, the Collaborative brings together expertise in Montessori philosophy and compassionate care to positively support aging adults, individuals living with dementia, and people with disabilities — and the care partners who walk alongside them.

Founder of PDK Educational Consulting, her work is grounded in the Power of Possibility framework — a strengths-based model that reframes how we see and support every person by leading with strengths, honoring dignity, and asking not what has been lost, but what is still possible. As a managing partner, The Montessori Care Partner Collaborative exists to extend Dr. Montessori's original vision of education as aid to life across the full arc of human development. The Collaborative specializes in equipping care communities with practical, research-based tools rooted in both Montessori philosophy and contemporary developmental science — creating prepared environments where every individual is seen, valued, and able to flourish.

Whether she is providing direct training, leading professional development, or co-creating systems of support, our mission remains the same: to walk alongside care partners as they unlock the full potential of every person in their care — and bring possibility to life at every stage.

Melissa Crenshaw, M.Ed. is the founder of Community Casa Care Partner, LLC and managing partner of the Montessori Care Partner Collaborative. With over 20 years of experience rooted in authentic Montessori philosophy, Melissa has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable communities and the care partners who serve them.

Melissa holds a BFA from Southwestern University and completed her AMI Assistants to Infancy Training with Dr. Montanaro at the Montessori Institute of San Diego. She is a graduate of the Master's in Montessori Integrative Learning Program with TIES and a certified Montessori Elder Care Practitioner — bringing a rare depth of training that spans the full arc of human development.

Grounded in Dr. Montessori's vision of education as aid to life, Melissa's work is driven by a deep belief in the potential of Montessori philosophy to positively support every person at every stage of life — from infancy through aging and dementia care. Through the Montessori Care Partner Collaborative, she is committed to equipping care partners with strengths-based, possibility-focused tools that honor the dignity and belonging of every individual in their care.

Melissa brings both expertise and compassion to this work — creating prepared environments and supporting prepared adults who see possibility in every person they serve.
